Aji is popular and is fished everywhere in Niigata coast. It is not so large ; usually from eight to thirty cm in length. Many families often enjoy Aji-fishing, for Japanese eat fishes very often, Aji is good taste and easy to catch. (photo 1)
The most common method of Aji-fishing is "Sabiki". It is one of small lures. Sabiki is casted with a sinker and is jerked, then fishes bite at Sabiki. Here I show you two Sabiki sets. (photo 2 and 3)
