My seabass fishing in June and July was good. But that in August was not, as it was hot in that month and the water temperature of the Shinano rose to 29-degree Centigrade. Seabasses probably went to the offing. So I fished only two seabasses in August.

Though hot days had continued, the shower came down from one week before every evening. It may be a chance.
I woke up early in that morning and went to Niigata West Port. I cast a red headed minnor plug and then luckily fished a nice seabass; the length was 86 cm and the weight was 4.7 Kg ( Pic.1 and 2 ).
In Pic.3 I hold my seabass on the breakwater. I fished a seabass after a long time and it was a ranker. I felt glad.

We had a typhoon several days ago. The water condition may be good. I went to Niigata West port in that morning.
I fished a good seabass ( 60 cm, 2.2 Kg ) ( Pic.4 ). As seabass fishing in August is severe, this game was very valuable for me.

Seabass fishing was not good again. I tried to fish Japanese barracuda. Japansese barracuda is small, the length of which is almost 27 cm. But it tastes good. My family like it.
Pic.5 and 6 show barracudas I fished in that morning. We Japanese fish barracuda with small artificial lures called Sabiki. Sabiki fishing is very fun. Try it.
