Seabass fishing on Niigata West Port in July

As described before, fishing was not good on the river side. A lot of anchovies were came to the sea side, and never entered the river. Probably most seabasses stayed in the sea, also never entered the river.

Then I tried fishing on the sea side.

Strategy change was succeeded. See these pictures. I got eleven seabasses on the sea side in July.

The first one was caught on July 3. I found a small group of seabasses boiling on the sea serface in that morning. I cast a lure and fished that one; the length of it was 42cm. It was a small but glad catch ( Pic.7 ). And I was sure that seabasses were in the sea.

I caught two on July 6; the length of one was 52cm ( Pic.8 ), and that of the other was 50cm ( Pic.9 ).

Next day I fished three seabasses; the size were 62cm, 61cm and 55cm ( Pic. 10, 11, 12 ). I was happy that morning.

On July 8 I got a seabass of 57cm in length and a yellowtail of 48cm ( Pic.13, 14 ). The yellowtail had nice fat and was very delicious.

I caught two on July 11, the body length were 54cm and 40cm ( Pic.15, 16 ).

I got a seabass of 61cm in length on July 13 ( Pic.17 ).

I got a nice seabass of 67cm in length on July 18 ( Pic.18 ).

That's all. I always fish ashore, and usually only in the morning. So these games were precious and I am proud of these.
